Tiger's Eye Palm Stone
Golden-brown tiger's eye with the silky, shifting band of light the stone is famous for — roll it in the light and the gold seems to move beneath the surface. Shaped and tumbled to sit comfortably in the palm of your hand.
Tiger's eye is a pseudomorph: quartz that slowly replaced fibrous crocidolite while preserving its silky structure. That fiber structure is what creates chatoyancy — the moving band of light. The classic material comes from South Africa's Northern Cape.
- Genuine natural tiger's eye
- Includes a Tiger's Eye Collector's Card
Care: Tiger's eye is durable (Mohs 7). Wipe with a soft dry cloth.
